Brad Haddin is a right handed batsman and wicketkeeper who plays for the Australian Cricket team. The other teams he plays for are New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory. At present, he is a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team.
Haddin debuted in One day Internationals on 30 January 2001 at Hobart against Zimbabwe. In this match, he stumped Campbell. He scored 13 runs in 11 deliveries inclusive of 2 boundaries and was caught by Whittall off the bowling of Murphy. Australia won this match by 6 wickets. Haddin played his first Test match on 22nd May 2008 at Kingston against the West Indies. In the 1st innings, Haddin scored 11 runs in 35 deliveries and was caught by Ramdin off the bowling of Sammy. While fielding, he took the catches of Parchment, Sarwan, Ramdin and Edwards. In the 2nd innings, he scored 23 runs after facing 76 deliveries and was caught by Morton off the bowling of Bravo. He took the catches of Parchment and Powell. Australia won this match by 95 runs.
Haddin has taken part in 43 Test matches in which he has scored 2257 runs at a batting average of 35.82. His strike rate has been 57.63 and he has hit 250 boundaries and 37 sixers. He has taken 160 catches.
Haddin has participated in 93 One day Internationals and has scored 2511 runs at a batting average of 31.38. He has hit 15 fifties, 235 boundaries and 56 sixers. He has taken 127 catches and was involved in 9 stumpings.
