Ravindu Shah a.k.a. Ravi Shah is a Right handed batsman and a Right arm medium fast bowler with the Kenya cricket team. He has also played for the Nairobi Gymkhana cricket team.
Ravi Shah started playing first class cricket in 1997. He made his debut in International cricket in a One day International match against Bangladesh at Hyderabad in 1998. Shah played an impressive 52 runs in 64 balls hitting four boundaries before being bowled by Khaled Mahmud. Bangladesh however went on to win the match by 6 wickets with 12 balls remaining.
In 2003, Shah showcased memorable performances by scoring half centuries against Canada and South Africa. He also played valuable innings scoring 34 runs and 46 runs against India in the Super Six and the Semi Final stages respectively.
In 2007, Shah scored his first century in One Internationals in a match against Scotland. Shah has been part of the 1999, 2003 and 2007 World Cup Kenya cricket teams. He has yet to play a International test match.
In a total of 56 One day international matches, Shah has scored 1506 runs with a high score of 113 runs and a strike rate of 65.53, This includes a century and 12 half centuries.
