Jeremy Nicholas Snape is a right arm offbreak bowler and a right handed batsman with the England cricket team. He has also played for the Combined Universities, Northamptonshire, Gloucestershire and the Leicestershire cricket teams.

Jeremy started playing first class cricket since 1992. Snape was also the captain of the England under 18 team in 1991. He made his debut in International cricket in a One day International match against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2001. Snape bowled 10 overs and claimed the wickets of Andy Flower and Grant Flower giving away just 39 runs. England went on to win the match by 5 wickets.

Though he has yet to play an International test match he debuted in Twenty20 International matches in a game against South Africa at Cape Town in 2007. Snape bowled an expensive over giving away 12 runs and scored 7 runs off 11 balls before getting caught by De Villiers on a ball by M Morkel. South Africa won the match by 19 runs. He was also a part of the England 2007 Twenty20 Championship team. In 2008, Snape announced his retirement from cricket and is currently serving as Performance Coach for South Africa.

In a total of 10 One day International matches, Snape has scored 118 runs and claimed 13 wickets at an economy of 4.57 runs per over.
