Gareth Rohan Breeseimage:Gareth Breese |Gareth Breese was born in 1976 in Jamaica and is a West Indian cricket player. However, he played for the Durham cricket team from 1995 to 2010. He had played in over 100 first class matches for both Jamaica and Durham teams. In the 2004 and 2005 seasons, he qualified as a non-overseas player for the team as he owned a British passport. With his consistent all-round playing skills, he instantly made himself a place in the Durham team.

In 2005, he was the third highest wicket taker for the Durham team as the team got promoted from Division two in the County Championship. Gareth is a useful batsman having many half centuries from number 7 and 8 in the batting order which helped the Durham team to win many games. This includes an unbeaten score of 79 at Taunton when Durham chased after Breese scoring 243.

Gareth made his first class debut for the Durham team in 1995-96. His last First Class match was against Kent which was held at Chester-le-Street. His List A debut for this team came in 1996-97 and his last List A match was against Kent which was held at Chester-le-Street. He made his Twenty20 debut for Durham in 2004 against Nottinghamshire, with his last Twenty20 being in 2010.
