Sunrisers Hyderabad will be up against the Kings XI Punjab as the two sides clash for their IPL fixture which is set to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad are sitting pretty at joint second place in the IPL 2013 tables at the present time.
Their achievements this season have been much more than what most people would have expected of them on the back of a couple of extremely poor seasons. However, they have won their matches which make all the difference.
Their win over the Royal Challengers Bangalore in a match that went down to the super over followed by a win over Pune Warriors India while defending a 120 run target will go down as the defining moments of their IPL 2013 season should they go on to achieve greater things.
By the looks of it, the Sunrisers Hyderabad have a great opportunity to extend their fantastic start to this season of the IPL as they take the field against Kings XI Punjab at home.
The likes of Cameron White, Dale Steyn, Ishant Sharma, and Amit Mishra are the people who are expected to make a difference. Kumar Sangakkara could sit out yet again.
Kings XI Punjab have also had a somewhat better IPL than the last couple of seasons and they have been the better side against the Chennai Super Kings and most recently, they came up tops of defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders.
They have been winning matches that people never thought they could win. Adam Gilchrist is the man leading this side and he will be looking to kick start his season after some dismal showings with the bat.
There is plenty of talent in the Kings XI Punjab outfit and as long as three or four of their players fire, they will always be in with a chance in the t20 game. David Hussey will be the key for the Kings XI.
