The Indian population is Centurion is getting busy as they prepare to see their teams in action with the second match of Saturday’s double header featuring Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders.

The match will be the second match in Group A of Champions League.

Having won the 2012 season of the Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders want to make sure they do not miss a chance at further glory.

They arrived in South Africa well ahead of the tournament and are being billed as one of the pre-tournament favorites.

The fans have strong reason to believe in the team’s chances as well, with several international stars available to make up for a strong squad.

Gautam Gambhir will captain the side and he has the privilege of experienced players at his disposal.

Jacques Kallis played a key role in the team’s success and will look to repeat the same.

Amongst the bowlers, it will be Sunil Narine who is expected to be in charge of the wickets column after making a hugely successful debut in the IPL. He also impressed in the recently-concluded World T20 played in Sri Lanka.

For the Delhi Daredevils, they have been faced with indirect criticism as being the third side from the IPL.

Having not played in the final, the critics have pointed fingers at the format of the tournament that sees as many as four Indian sides in the main round while champions from West Indies, Sri Lanka and Pakistan have had to return home from the qualifying stages only.

That will not stop the Daredevils though who boast of a strong side that can make an impact. Kevin Pietersen is the much talked-about player who will take the field since his controversy with the ECB over derogatory text messages.

Mahela Jayawardene will captain the team after having led Sri Lanka to World T20 final while Morne Morkel is expected to extract testing bounce out of the lively Centurion track.

The toss will take place at 5.00pm with the match starting half an hour later.
