Why Rohit Sharma must be dropped from the Indian team
Rohit Sharma who created a lot of buzz in the cricketing world by his stupendous performance in the first two editions of the IPL has now lost his form.
He appears listless and is not able to meet the expectations of his fans. He has failed at the crucial situations when India needed him the most. Then what is the need of such player who is not able to perform when his team needs him the most.
Many other reasons have also forced the selectors and team management to think about the future of Rohit Sharma.
Here are some of the reasons that support the fact that he should be dropped from the team.
Inconsistency: This guy who was once thought to be the perfect replacement of Rahul Dravid has lost his form. He is not able to perform consistently and this is the main reason that there is a big question mark against his name. He performs when top order performs but he miserably fails when team needs him.
Critics are literally bashing the selectors for selecting once again. In point of fact, their criticism is right because he is not able to score runs consistently.
Poor form: There is no doubt that he is going through a bad patch of his career and looking at the current situation it would be a prudent decision to go back to domestic cricket and gain some form.
His long bad form is getting on the nerves of Indian cricket fans therefore it would be wise that he should be dropped from the team and some other good young talented player should be given a chance.
Strong bench strength: Last but not the least, strong bench strength also asks that he should be shown the exit door. When you have talented players like Manoj Tiwari and Rahane then what is the need of relying on a player who has always disappointed you?
It is high time. Rohit Sharma should learn from his mistakes and come back strongly. But for now he must be dropped from the India team.

its just the circumstances going hard 4 u bro .......and cricket is a game which depends on "luck by chance "/.....keep on working hard.i knw u can do it
Rohit sharma has been given enough chances. He is not fit to be in the Indian team. He fails consistently, cannot play quick bowling, and has a casual approach, fails India in crunch situations. Quite a hopeless person and been tried again and again. Please give someone else so many chances.
Nobody who has a sane sense of cricket can deny the immense potential this man ROHIT SHARMA have been blessed with! But the only crietria for the selection is performance and he unfortunatly have'nt performed so far at least in the recent past when he was along with VIRAT KOHLI supposed form the very basic of the substratum upon which the entire edifize of the indian batting rests. It is more significant taking in consideration the retirement of some of the legends of the game. Form is temporary but class is permanent. He has class and only thing lacking is his form, that can be gained by going to the basics and get back to domestic cricket. get your form back, score some runs and come back a better batsman. Well if you have some real talent and the right temprament nobody can stop you! And for the time being selectors can try out the bench strength that is languishing and is in a desperate need of an oppurtinity!
i dont understand why tiwary and rahne are not given these many chances. as the article says what good is rohit as a player when he cant perform when his team needs him the most?
rohit is becoming burden on teqm india, wake up selectors and drop this good for nothing player.
performance in ipl is no benchmark to test calibre of a player.
Dhoni will not select Manoj Tiwari since his two consecutive fours at the IPL final last over robbed Chennai of victory! Dhoni is being vindictive !!
