Azhar Mahmood is likely to be included in the playing eleven after being granted a nationwide visa.
Royal Challengers Bangalore gained valuable points with their win in the previous match, against Pune Warriors, on Tuesday.
They were able to chase down a daunting total of 182 off the final ball of the match, reversing the memories of the last-ball defeat that Bangalore suffered at the hands of Chennai Super Kings earlier in the season.
Chris Gayle will hold the key to their success after his yet another typical aggressive knock, scoring 81 runs off 48 balls. His towering sixes will be a sight for the fans worldwide, though one of the fans suffered a nose injury thanks to Gayle’s power.
With AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli in the side, their batting makes for an intimidating line-up. Muttiah Muralitharan sat out the last match and remains to be seen whether he is played on Friday.
