The Match: The game 49 of the Indian Premier League this season will see the Mumbai Indians take on the Delhi Daredevils in the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The two sides had earlier met at the Kotla and the Mumbai Indians had run away winners with consummate ease. >

How the two teams match up: The Mumbai Indians are at the top of the points table with 14 points from nine games. Another win here and they would have made it through to the next stage in the tournament.

On the other hand, the Delhi Daredevils go into the game with a win over the opposition in the previous game thanks to a blistering innings from Sehwag. They have eight points from ten games and only an outside chance of going through to the next stage. They have to win this game though.

Ground Conditions: The Mumbai Indians will look forward to the home game given that there will much more bounce and pace in the pitch than some of the others in the country.

The Teams: Mumbai Indians had made an inspiring change in the previous game, getting in T Suman in place of R Satish. Suman smacked a cameo that propelled side forward after it looked like dawdling at one stage and went on assist the side in getting to more than 160. The Mumbai Indians had also got in Dhawal Kulkarni who did a good job on a pitch that had something for the pace bowlers.

The side would, in all probability, go into the game with the same playing eleven.

It is a surprise that the Daredevils have changed their batting and bowling so many times in the tournament. In the last game, the Daredevils had made three changes to the team which meant that the side went in with the likes of Aaron Finch in place of Dave Warner – a shocker given the kind of form that Warner has displayed.

Aavishkar Salvi’s selection was surprising as well and the side will do well to continue playing with the same playing eleven in a bid to allow some continuity for the side.

Players to look out for: The Mumbai Indians will look to Sachin Tendulkar to give them a quick start while the Daredevils will hope that Sehwag can smash the ball around to get to another innings of the same kind as the previous game.
