What: Australia play England in the sixth ODI of the series. It is a seven-match series.
When: The game will be played on February 2, 2011.
Where: The match will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney.
Background: Australia have already won the series by taking a 4-1 lead with only two more to play. Australia won the first, second, third and the fifth games of the series while the only one won by England was played at Adelaide.
The English batting has struggled throughout the series, probably due to the absence of Alastair Cook and that has led to the collapses at various times in the series. Australia have had their share of injury issues but they have performed a tad better than the opposition which has led them to this scoreline.
Teams: The injury to Chris Tremlett and Ajmal Shehzad has led the side to call for reinforcements in the form of Liam Plunkett. Plunkett may not make it to the playing eleven in this game where spinners should have a better chance than the pace bowlers. This will allow either Michael Yardy or both him and James Tredwell to make a comeback into the playing eleven. Luke Wright could also get a chance to get into the playing eleven.
For Australia, with the series in their bag, there doesn’t seem to be a need to play their eleven that featured in the previous game. With Shaun Marsh ruled out of the game with injury, Callum Ferguson will take his place while the bowling line-up may see Shaun Tait come into the side.
Players to look out for: Australia will need their middle-order to fire with the likes of Michael Clarke and Cameron White having not had a great series so far. For England, it is the batting of Andrew Strauss and Paul Collingwood that will see them through.
