The 16th game of the Champions League T20 will see the Victorian Bushrangers take on the Wayamba Elevens at Centurion. Victorian have two wins from three games while Wayamba have yet to open their account in the two games that they have played so far. 
Victoria had lost their first game of the tournament to the Warriors but have come back well to beat the Stags and the Chennai Super Kings. Another win here will give them three wins from their four matches, but that may not still put them through to the semi-finals. 
This is because, currently, Warriors have six points from three games as well, while Chennai have four from three. The two meet in a game later, and if Chennai wins the game they will have three wins as well; making it a three-way tie between Chennai, Warriors and Victoria. The net run-rate could come into the picture at this stage, and this will mean that the Super Kings, who already have a superior run-rate will go through for sure, but it will depend on who has it better between the Victorian and the Warriors side.
There is another scenario we need to consider. If Wayamba can win this game and then beat the Stags in the final league game, they will have four points from their matches. That will also mean that the Victorian side will end their proceedings with four points. Now, if the Warriors beat the Super Kings in the last game, that will mean that there is a three-way tie for the second spot between Wayamba, Chennai and the Warriors.
In essence, a lot hinges on this game, and this is why, it could just be one of those low-key, but interesting games that could have a lot of following. Victorian Bushrangers had had a tie in the previous game where it ebbed and flowed, and that is where Wayamba could hope that it would have taken something out of the opposition.
Wayamba were virtually brushed aside in the previous game against Chennai and will need to look at their bowling options for this game.
