Standing 60 cm high and weighing 11 kilograms, there are names of the previous winners engraved on the base of this trophy. The original trophy is safely kept with the ICC, with its replica differing in the inscriptions, being awarded to the winners.
The present trophy is made from gild and silver, with a golden globe which is held by three silver columns. These columns are shaped as bails and stumps, representing the three fundamental features of cricket, which are fielding, batting and bowling. The globe on the other hand portrays a cricket ball.
