Pakistan suffer injuries at training camp at Lahore

The Pakistani team which is going through a national training camp before the start of the ICC World T20 in West Indies has had many cricketers suffer injuries.

The camp, which is said to be a rather arduous one is going on in the National Cricket Academy in Lahore and is being overlooked by Waqar Younis.

Shahid Afridi, the Pakistani captain, has already injured his finger whereas fast bowler Umar Gul and all-rounder Fawad Alam and Yasir Arafat are also suffering from niggles brought about the training.

Gul has suffered a shoulder injury, Fawad has injured his hand while Arafat is carrying a calf injury.

The captain did clarify that none of the injuries were of serious nature and that they should be alright for the tournament.

Afridi also praised the sessions and said that the players were learning a lot from the sessions.

Pakistan are in the same group as Australia and Bangladesh in this edition of the tournament. they are also the defending champions in the tournament.
