The M Chinnasamy Stadium in Bangalore will host the first game of Thursday when the Bangalore side plays the Delhi Daredevils. Bangalore will be going into the game with four successive wins to their name, whereas Delhi has now lost three successive matches and will be looking to resume their winning. One can be rest assured that against a strong-looking Bangalore side, this could be a rather difficult task.>
Delhi has been struggling with their batting line-up and against a side whose bowers have been blowing hot all through the tournament, this is going to be something of a difficulty. T Dilshan needs to play in the game and play without any inhibitions, but how will he cope with the bounce of Dale Steyn and the rest of the bowlers is a question. One also thinks that if Dilshan makes it to the final eleven, there is a good chance that AB de Villiers will have to go out of the side. 
The Delhi bowling has done reasonably well so far, but one senses that Pradeep Sangwan should be back for this game in place of one of the two spinners, Yogesh Nagar or Sarabjit Ladda given the amount of pace this surface has.
Bangalore’s successful streak has been possible due to the twin-factors – Jacques Kallis and Robin Uthappa’s batting and the successful implementation of the strategy to bowl short to the opposition. They will look to continue to exploit the same, but what Delhi cannot afford to ignore is the bowling form of Anil Kumble, who has been performing so well that it has become very difficult to score off him.
