Australia will look to continue their new-found domination over world cricket when they begin their tour of New Zealand with a T20I game at Wellington. This forms a part of two T20I games, three Test matches and five other ODIs that will be played on tour. Will need to fire at the top of the order>

Australia will know that they hold a lot of the aces on this tour of New Zealand. the T20Is, to begin with, have suddenly become of their better formats of the game, and the likes of Dave Warner and Shane Watson have had a lot to do with it. Warner has been in some form, and will be the man that the whole of New Zealand will probably fear, not the least, the opening bowlers.Could be too hot to handle>

As compared to this, the Kiwis do have a couple of really explosive batsmen in Brendon McCullum and Ross Taylor at the top of the order. But the fact of the matter is that McCullum has not been in the best of form in this shorter format, whereas Taylor needs some support from the other end if the Kiwis have to make the most of the opportunities that may come their way.

Peter Ingram had a relatively good debut series against Bangladesh, but it will be a totally different proposition playing Australia and things could get really interesting against the likes of Shaun Tait and Mitchell Johnson. Tait is one of the quickest in the business today and could get a tad too pacy for the new comer.

What will be interesting is that in this battle of pace, the Aussie spinners – Hauritz or Steve Smith –may be benefitted by this and could end up getting a few cheap wickets.

Australia go into the game as firm favourites, with Coral offering 1/2 for their win, as compared to 7/4 (888Sport) for New Zealand to stun the Aussies.
