The current captain of the Pakistani side, Mohammad Yousuf has taken the selectors head on for not sending Younis Khan early enough for their series against Australia. 
The Pakistani side has been struggling with their batting throughout the Test series against Australia, and the consistent collapses in all the three Tests has left the captain fuming. Even in the ongoing third game of the series, the Pakistanis were 96/4 in reply to the Aussie score of more than 500 in their first innings.
The current captain had requested the selectors to send Younis over because of his experience in handling these conditions. But after much dilly-dallying, the selectors had sent the former captain Younis Khan over to domestic cricket to regain his form.
A bemused Yousuf asked whether the selectors would also send him to the domestic cricket as well to check his form.
Already there has been tension brewing between the selectors and the captain over the selection of Kamran Akmal. The selectors had sent out Sarfraz Ahmed to Australia in the middle of the series with an instruction that he will be playing in the third Test match. This seems to have enraged the captain as the playing eleven has to be selected by the captain, vice-captain and the coach.
