The final period of the Sports Pundit IPL Fantasy begins from Monday, and for obvious reasons, assumes important proportions. This piece begins the preview of the players to look out for in the next period, on a team-wise basis.
Rajasthan Royals: With 13 points from 12 games, the Rajasthan Royals will be hoping to win both their win to confirm their spot in the knock-out, but for that they will need a fully fit Shane Warne. Warne’s hamstring – or groin or whatever – is apparently a problem, but he showed in the previous game, that he could still do well enough.
Graeme Smith’s form is a bit iffy, but Ravindra Jadeja has contributed in almost every inning. However, for me, it is evident that Yusuf Pathan hasn’t fired in the last few games and would be itching to go after the bowling. His bowling is a bonus and should walk into my Sports Pundit IPL Fantasy team.
Royal Challengers Bangalore: Bangalore had begun by being a replica to the one that had taken field in the previous season, but has slowly matured into being a very effective and hard-working side. Anil Kumble’s leadership has rubbed off well and they have begun winning more matches than before. However, the players to look out for from the Bangalore side are Mark Boucher, who could team’s calculations with his cameos and a Rahul Dravid, who should get another game despite the lack of reasonable performances ever since he got back to South Africa.
Dravid is not known to continue in a poor vein of form for long and should come good.

One isn’t too sure about Dale Steyn’s injury, but I thought one needs to make a mention of him; he does look to be the forgotten man of the Royal Challengers team!
