Terri Moss
Terri Moss is a female professional boxer, trainer, and author, also known as “The Boss.” She was born on January 25, 1966, and fights in the Minimumweight division, with an Orthodox stance. She was born in Denver, Colorado, but later moved to Athens, Georgia, but she is currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia.
It was in 2003 when Moss made the move to Atlanta so that she could train with Xavier Biggs, the brother of Olympic Super Heavyweight gold medalist Tyrell Biggs. Before she went into boxing, Moss was a Law Enforcement officer, who was working on several levels of the said field. She even spent a number of years in her previous career as a Narcostics Investigator.
Although a little late in boxing terms, Moss made her debut into the world of boxing at the age of 34. Her trainer, Keppner was hesitant to train Moss mainly due to her age and her physical limitations that would pretty much keep her out of the ring. He did, however, use her as an assistant by having her work at corners of his professional fighters and even taught her how to be a cut man. In fact, she is one as the first females who are documented to have experienced being a cut man as well as chief second for male fighters.
Throughout her career, Moss fought a total of 18 fights with 9 wins and 9 losses. She currently works as a full time boxing trainer and personal trainer for women as well as an author.
