Born on February 23, 1974, in Seigen, Germany, Hülya Sahin is a female Turkish boxer who holds a German passport. After establishing a reputation for herself in kickboxing, Sahin moved to boxing, making her pro debut in 2001. She is the undefeated WIBF word junior flyweight champion and currently lives in Cologne, Germany. She is coached by Michael Timm.

Sahin claimed the world champion title in kickboxing in Germany in 1995 just two years after starting her training for kickboxing. In 1998 she earned the professional world champion title in Germany. From 1999 to 2003 Sahin fought for Turkey as an amateur boxer and won numerous titles during her stint, among them the gold medal in the 1st international Witch Boxing Cup tournament, the title in the 48 kg division in the 1st European Women’s Cup and the 2nd European Cup for Women. She also won the gold medal in the 48 kg division in the 1st World Women’s Boxing Championship, as well as the silver medal in the 48 kg division in the 47th Bocskei Cup.

Sahin debuted as a pro boxer in 2004, defeating Gabriella Insperger with a four-round unanimous decision in Salona, Romania and since then has won several titles including the WIBF interim junior flyweight title, WIBF Inter-Continental Flyweight title and the German flyweight title. Her last fight was in 2007 when she successfully defended her WIBF junior flyweight title against Delia Lopez in Germany.

All in all she holds a record of 19 wins with no losses with 2 wins by KO.
