That's a cunning ansewr to a challenging question
I admire Manny for acknowledging his sinful condition, who like everybody else, like me is a sinner, who turned to God for his forgiveness, redemption and salvation. He is making effort to correct his mistakes and wrongdoings, esp. to his family, among others, by the grace of God. I also would like to congratulate him for not being afraid to express his own conviction in relation to gay marriage based on biblical principles. All of us is entitled to our own conviction, which in the case of Manny Pacquiao-is based on honoring God, which is not bad because God ultimately wanted us to be happy and have eternal life together with Him. However, not all of us would like to be with God. Hence, God allows people to choose whom to worship, listen and obey. It is Manny Pacquiao's choice to listen to Gods' instruction in the bible. It's the gays' choice not to. In the end, people will decide where do they want to go in the eternal life, if they ever believed there is such a thing. I just hope and pray that the gay people will be touched by God, although they would not like to be under His authority or accept the teaching of the bible on the issue because it seemed so unfair and there are many struggles and things they have to sacrifice and let go (same with straight people who are living in sin and blatantly opposing God's will...but there are also gay and straight people who are remorseful and strive to be better and discover that it's peaceful and fun to be with God). We have to be sympathetic with gays with their hurts, just as we should be sympathetic with the straights as we are not perfect people, that's why Jesus Christ came because we can't save ourselves and we need help. In a nutshell, we should always bear in mind that our action shoud always lead to love and what is honoring and glorifying God. Gays and straights, let us remember, God loves us and may God's inner voice within each of us and not the other inner voice, prevail.
