Dawn Denise George is a former American female boxer who used to play in the light middleweight division. This southpaw was born in Gardner, Massachusetts on April 30, 1959.

George debuted in professional boxing past her prime, almost at the age of 30, on February 8, 1998. Her first fight against Gina Nicholas in Louisiana was not successful, where she lost by TKO. Her first win was on April 10 of the same year, when she took Angela Reiss and won after a four-round match against her via a split decision. On August 2 of the same year, she earned her first professional technical knockout when she took Jackie Starkey out in the first round in just one and a half minutes. She experienced her first loss on August 21 versus Mitzi Jeter in a unanimous decision. She will later meet Jeter two more times in 1999 and 2001, and lost in both by unanimous decision.

After her loss to Jeter, she again lost in her fight on September 23, 1998 against the Las Vegas native, Hannah Fox. After winning via technical knockout against Serina Pelletier on November 20, 1998, she was not as lucky the following year. She lost in all her three fights in 1999, first against Jeter and then against Summer De Leon and Lisa Ested.

On November 3, 2000, George won against Amy Burton in New York, her last career win in boxing. She lost the following month by way of technical knockout against Patricia Demick. Her third loss to Jeter came in 2001 in her first bid to win a world title–the International Women's Boxing Federation (IWBF) welterweight title. In 2002, George played her last fight, where she lost by knockout to Vienna Williams, the latter winning the then vacant IWBF light middleweight title.

George retired from boxing with a negative win-loss record having started in boxing late. She has a record of 4 wins, 3 of which were by knockout; 8 losses; and 1 draw.
