Noel Arambulet
Noel Arambulet, better known as “El Verdugo” was born on May 18, 1974 in Falcon. Victory did not come easy for this fly weight boxer and I guess the same thing goes for any other boxer. His determination for his career paid off when he won his first world title after only 14 fights. Arambulet captured the vacant WBA minimum weight. After the successful events, he suddenly lost his title on his second defense. But because of his positive outlook, he was given new hope to retain it and he was given the opportunity to fight for the world title again. It was a very close fight which gave a very close decision for Noel Arambulet and his opponent Keitaro Hoshino.
Keitaro Hoshino captured a minimum weight and defended the belt once before losing it by a split decision in 2001. Though he does not have a big punch, he can throw many punches and he can also stay active throughout the fight which helps him in overwhelming his opponents to win the rounds.
Arambulet’s reign did not last that long in the world of boxing, but this did not stop him. After losing a few matches he became more determined in pursuing his reign and he became more prosperous after a rematch over Hoshino. After successfully being able to defend his belt twice, he unfortunately lost it after competing with Yutaka Niida in 2004. The decision for this fight was made though the title has been removed due to his failure to make weight.
