Harold Segerson Mahony was a tennis player from Ireland and is best remembered for his victory at Wimbledon in the year 1896 in the final beat with Wilfred Baddeley of Great Britain who is also known as a better competitor and went on to win singles title three times in 1891, 1892, and in 1895. Harold is a good player then and really loved his career during his time.
In the 1900 Summer Olympics which is officially known as the Games of the II Olympiad, was an international multi sport event which was celebrated in Paris, France, he won a silver medal in the men’s single event, followed by another bronze medal award during the doubles tournament representing Great Britain and Ireland. He was so proud upon receiving his award like any other professionals who maintain their name in the record. Moreover, Harold keeps it up, aiming high to create more progress.In the Grand Slam record in Wimbledon in the Single’s champion in the year 1896, he beat W Baddeley who is also said to be an efficient tennis player, Harold got a final score of 6-2, 6-8, 5-7, 8-6, 6-3 with him. Like many other professional player, Harold gave his best and do a good job in his sports career to mark something unforgettable in the history.
