Career

As a junior player, he represented Slovakia in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. He took home the bronze medal for the boy’s doubles event.

He turned pro in 2010 and 2014, he won his first ATP Challenger title while still outside the Top 300. This made him the fourth player to have done so. In 2016, he made his Grand Slam debut when he made it to the first round of the Australian Open. He also made it to the first round of the US Open. A year later, he made it to the first round of the French Open. He has since had numerous other first-round finishes at Grand Slam events including at Wimbledon in 2019.
