Daniel Elahi Galan is a professional tennis player who had recently achieved being at World Number 112 at the ATP Rankings. Galan was born and raised in Colombia, where he had learned to play tennis. At the same time, he is the current no. 1 Colombian player and he’s also an active player of the Colsanitas team that supports Colombian tennis players.

Professional Life

Galan made his professional career at the 2015 Claro Open Colombia where he played as a wildcard player. He was also recognized for joining the 2020 French Open and was able to the best of his abilities in front of the current World Number 1, Novak Djokovic. Although he lost the match, still he gained new followers for doing his best.

Galan represented his country at the 2020 Summer Olympics, however, he suffered a loss from Alexander Zverev in the second round.
