Career

As a junior player, Wang won the girl’s doubles at the Australian Open and Wimbledon. She made her Grand Slam main draw debut in 2018, appearing in the opening round of the Aussie Open. The following year, she made her debut in the majors when she was in the opener of the Miami Open.

She did not make her doubles grand slam debut until 2022. The following year, she and partner Hsieh Su-wei won the French Open women’s doubles beating the pairing of Leylah Fernandez and Taylor Townsend. Later that year, she was also in the semis of the US Open women’s doubles.

Also in 2023, she was in the third round of the French Open singles and the third round of the singles draw at Indian Wells.
