Early Junior Career

Kalinskaya joined the French Open for the junior singles event, where she defeated CiCi Bellis in the semi-finals but was beaten up by Paula Badosa in the next round. She also joined the US Open with partner Anastasia Potapova, but they have lost in the final round.

Professional Tennis Career

In 2015, Kalinskaya debuted as a professional tennis player and reached the finals of the Antalya Open as an unranked qualifier. This led her to land on the WTA rankings at 1201. She also appeared at the Kremlin Cup as a wildcard but she was defeated by Daria Kasatkina in the second qualifying round.

In 2016, she overcame 4 consecutive finals that made her reach the Top 200 for the first time. She also made it through the main draw at the Kremlin Cup, however, she was defeated by Kristina Mladenovic.

Her first Grand Slam event was at the Australian Open, where she was defeated in the first qualifying round. She by Stefanie Vogele.
