Federico is the younger brother of retired professional tennis player Guillermo Coria. In 2018, Federico ran into some controversy when he was charged with a $10,000 fine. This was related to a match-fixing attempt for an event from 2015.
Professional Career
Coria turned pro in 2010. He won his maiden Challenger tour title in 2019. This was at the 2019 Savannah Challenger event. He made his Grand Slam debut in 2020 when he appeared at the US Open.
In 2020, he made it to the second round of the US Open and the third round of the French Open. He also made it to the second round of the doubles event at the French Open.
The following year, Coria made it to the first round of the double’s events at the Australian Open and the US Open. In the same year, he also made it to the first round of the singles event at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
