Anastasia Potapova is a female Russian professional tennis player born on March 30, 2001 in Saratov. She is coached by Irina Doronina and plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand. Potapova was also coached by Iain Hughes and trained at the Alexander Ostrovsky Academy.

She started playing professionally in 2005 with her first career event at an ITF circuit in Turkey. Potapova won one ITF singles title and two ITF doubles titles in 2017. With a WTA doubles title and runner-up status in River Cup Moscow, she debuted the top 100 world ranking in 2018 and finished at number 94.
