British tennis star Andy Murray has parted ways with Coach Jamie Delgado in an attempt to restart his tennis career. Murray has been working with Delgado since the 2016 season when Murray finished No.1 in the world rankings.

Delgado took over for Ivan Lendl who stopped being Murrays coach in 2017. In his place now is Jan de Witt from Germany who has been working with Murray in the run-up to the Mubadala World Tennis Championships in Abu Dhabi. De Witt has worked with Giles Simon, Nikoloz Basilashvili, and Gael Monfils.

Murray was also seen working with Esteban Carril who also coaches Johana Konta but the Spanish coach has not been invited to join Murrays team for the 2022 season.

Following a serious hip injury in 2019, the 34-year-old Murray has been working hard to restart his career. He currently stands at 134th in the world rankings.

Delgado has also moved on and is set to start coaching Dennis Shapovalov who is currently World No.14. Shapovalov is also noted for having defeated Murray in the third round of the 2021 Wimbledon event.
