For the second time around, Australian Ashleigh Barty was given a WTA Player of the Year award for her performances this year. Barty had won 5 WTA tournaments, including a Grand Slam title in Wimbledon.

Another milestone that Barty had reached this year is joining some tennis legends like Serena Williams and Steffi Graf in the WTA World Number 1 for 3 consecutive seasons. In 2019, Barty has also crowned the same award and has joined Serena Williams, Lindsay Davenport, and Monica Seles in claiming multiple awards.

Her fans are anticipating her presence at the Australian Open next year, but Barty had no announcement yet whether she will join the upcoming Australian Open or not. In the meantime, she is using her time to rest in her home country and spend more time with her family.

Meanwhile, US Open champion Emma Raducanu shone as the WTA Newcomer of the Year awardee after her fairytale-like win in New York. The British teenager also became the mainstream media’s attention since the US Open and her followers seemed to be interested in watching her future performances.

Starting from Rank 343 at the start of 2021, she managed to finish in the World Number 19 WTA Ranking. She will soon be joining the Australian Open next January. Raducanu, being a newbie in tennis, would love to learn through failures and soar to more exciting heights prepared for her.

Fans are now expecting Barty and Raducanu to give them a fun-filled excitement next season.
