The 20-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has missed a lot of ATP Tours since August due to a foot injury, that’s why he decided to skip the rest of the season. As of the moment, Nadal is back on the practice in Mallorca.

Nadal previously announced that he will be joining Mubadala World Tennis Championship as a comeback for his 3 months hiatus. He will be seeing some of the world champions on December 16-18, such as Dominic Thiem, Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud, Denis Shapovalov, and Andy Murray.

He also shared a message to his fans that he is looking forward to competing at his favorite tournament again. Nadal is the defending champion for the Mubadala World Tennis Championship title, as he won against Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2019 with 6-7, 7-5, 7-6 results. Nadal and Tsitsipas gave their fans an ultimate level of satisfaction as their match is considered one of the best clashes in tennis history.

Nadal has been dealing with his foot injury since the French Open, so he had to withdraw from the US Open and also skipped Wimbledon. Since then, he has been missing a lot of points because he missed some of the Grand Slam events. He had also missed the prestigious Tokyo Olympics.

His next plan after the World Tennis Championship is to join the Australian Open, which is about to happen next year. His fans are so thrilled to see the Spaniard back in action.
