Rafael Nadal is going into Roland Garros, determined to win his 11th French Open title. Now, after the draw, he knows the potential route he could be facing on his road to victory.

Nadal will be entering the Grand Slam fresh after a recent victory at the Italian Open. He is back on top of the World Rankings after he was victorious against Alexander Zverev during the final round of the said match.

After the French Open draw, here is a list of who Nadal could meet during the upcoming tournament.

First round match sees Nadal go against Alexandr Dolgopolov. Both have met each other nine times over the course of their careers, and Nadal has won seven of these matches.

For round two, should Nadal be victorious, he will go against Guido Pella of Argentina or Joao Sousa.

If the World No. 1 gets through either Pella or Sousa, then he could have an encounter with Richard Gasquet in the third round.

After passing the said players, Rafael Nadal will be going against Denis Shapovalov or Jack Sock before he can step into the quarterfinal round of the French Open. Quarters pose either Diego Schwartzman or Kevin Anderson as Nadal’s possible opponents.

To get to the final round, Nadal would then have to face off against Marin Cilic during the semifinal round.

On the other half of the draw, Novak Djokovic stands as the most probable opponent that Nadal will have to face in the final round. However, Alexander Zverev is also on the said half and could be up for the challenge to also reach the final round.

Things are getting heated up as the French Open 2018 is about to start. Will Nadal win it in the end? Or will Novak Djokovic or Alexander Zverev stop Nadal from winning his 11th title?
