Cruijff Turn

The term “Cruijff Turn” is a footballing term that is used to describe one of the most elegant moves in football. This moves involves the footballer, who is looking to pass or cross the ball, dragging the ball behind his planted football with the inside of his other foot and turning through 180 degrees and accelerating away outside the hoodwinked defender. This amazing footballing technique was famously pulled off by Dutch legend Johan Cruijff at the 1974 World Cup and has been named after him.
