FC Lokomotivo Tbilisi is a Georgian football club based in the country’s capital Tbilisi. They currently feature in the Umaglesi Liga, the Georgian top flight.

FC Lokomotiv Tbilisi were established in 1936 and were part of the Lokomotiv Voluntary Sports Society during the USSR period. They are said to have strong links with the Georgian Railways.

Lokomotiv won their first SSR Georgian championship in 1937 and repeated that feat in 1945. In 1003 they won merged with Merani and founded the club Merani-Bacjo Tbilisi. In 1996 they assumed their current name.

Lokomotiv won the Georgian Cup for the first time in their history in 2000 and won the Cup again in 2002 and 2005.

FC Lokomotiv Tbilisi play their home matches at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium that can accommodate 24,680 spectators.
