Anyang LG Cheetahs

Anyang LG Cheetahs was a South Korean football club based in Anyang, Gyeonggi. It was owned and managed by GS Sports.

Anyang LG Cheetahs were established in December 1983 and started life in 1984 as Lucky-Goldstar Hwangso that was owned and managed by the LG Group. In their first season Cheetahs finished seventh in a eight-team league but in 1985 they won the Championship.

Anyang LG Cheetahs moved to Seoul at the start of 1990 and assumed the name LG Cheetahs in 1991. In 1996, though, they moved back to Anyang and rechristened themselves as Anyang LG Cheetahs. In 2000 they won their third Championship.
