Nijmegen Eendracht Combinatie, commonly referred to as NEC, is a professional Dutch football club. They currently feature in the Dutch Eredivisie and finished sixth in the Dutch top flight in the 2007-2008 season.

The club was formed as Eendracht (Dutch word for unity) on November 15,1900 and in 1903 merged with Nijmegen to be reformed as NEC.

Although they club has not won any major honours till now, they have reached the final of the KNVB Cup in 1973, 1983, 1994 and 2000. NEC also played in the UEFA Cup in 1983 and 2003 and shall play in the UEFA Cup in the 2008-2009 campaign too.

NEC play their home matches at the McDOS Goffertstadion that has house 12,470 spectators. The club bears the nicknames Eniesee, the Number One of Gelderland and the Pride of Gelderland.

NEC foster a fierce and volatile rivalry with Vitesse of Armhem and play ‘De Gelderse derby”(The Gelder Derby) with them.
