Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas is a Brazilian football club that plays in the Brazilian Serie A. The club is one of four major clubs from Rio de Janeiro and has won the Brazilian Championship once in 1995 and the competitive Rio de Janeiro state championship 18 times, most recently in 2006.

The team play their home games at the Engenhao, which has a capacity of 45,000.
