Neuchatel Xamax Football Club is a Swiss football club based in Neuchatel. They currently feature in the Swiss Super League.
Neuchatel were estblished in 1970 after FC Cantonal (founded in 1906) and FC Xamax (formed in 1912) were merged together. They won the Swiss Super League in two successive years in 1987 and 1988.
Neuchatel play their home matches at the Stade de la Maladiere that can hold 12,000 spectators. They bear the nickname Xamax.
