The Portland Pilots men’s soccer team represents the University of Portland in soccer competition at the NCAA Division I for men. Based in Portland, Oregon, this team head coach is Bill Irwin, who is at present in his eighth year in the team.

The home matches of this team is played at the Merlo Field which has a seating capacity of 5, 120 spectators. The nickname given to this team is “Pilots” and the kit color of the team is purple and white. Few of the present squad of this team includes Kasey Keller, Heath Pearce, Nate Jaqua, Mark Miller, Scott Benedetti and Wade Webber amongst others.

Major Highlights

Till date, the team has been a WCC Regular Season winners six times, namely in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1995 and in 2002.
