OFK Beograd is a Serbian football club based in the Karaburma urban neighbourhood in Belgrade. They currently feature in the Serbian Superliga.

OFK Beograd were established in 1911 as BSK in the Kingdom of Serbia. They won five national championships in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and were known as Metalac between 1945 and 1950.

Beograd won the Yugoslav Cup in 1953 and won the Cup again in 1955,1962 and 1966. They finished runners-up in the league in1955 and 1964. In 1957 they club assumed the name OFK Beograd. They participated in European club competitions eight times in the 1960s and the first half of the 1970s. They even reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in the 1962-1963 season.

But by the 1980s Beograd had been suffering as they became a sort of yo-yo club. But they resurfaced in the 1990s and finished fourth in the league in 1992 and 1994.

By 2003 Beograd were back in Europe and had started featuring in qualifying rounds of the UEFA Cup.

OFK Beograd play their home matches at the Omladinski Stadion that can accommodate 16,000 spectators. They bear the nickname “Romantican”.
