FC Terek Grozny is a Russian football club based in Grozny. They currently feature in the Russian Premier League.

FC Terek Grozny were established in 1946 as Dynamo. In 1948 they changed their name to Neftyanik and in 1958 they became “Terek”.

In the 1990s Terek were disbanded for some time due to war in Chechnya. From then until 2007 they played their home matches in the neighbouring resort city of Pyatogorsk, Stavropol Krai.

In 2007 Terek returned to the Russian Premier League and finished tenth in the league in the 2008 season.

FC Terek play their home matches at the Sultan Bilimkhanov stadium that can accommodate 10,200 spectators.

In 2004 Terek won the Russian Cup and played in the Russian Premier League in 2005. At the end of the 2005, however, Terek suffered relegation as they finished bottom of the pile.
