FC Kharkiv is a Ukrainian football club based in Kharkiv. They currently feature in the Ukrainian Premier League.

FC Kharkiv’s roots can be found in the club FC Arsenal Kharkiv that entered the Ukrainian Professional League in the Druha Liha Group C in the 1999-2002 season. They finished second in the 2001-2002 season and gained promotion to the Persha Liha.

Kharkiv finished second in the Liha in the 2005-2006 season and gained promotion to the Vyscha Liha for the first time. They finished 12th in the 2006-2007 season in their debut season in the Ukrainian Premier League with Oleksandr Hladky topscoring in the league with 13 goals.

FC Kharkiv play their home matches at the Yuvileiny Stadium that can accommodate 29,500 spectators. They bear the nickname “Citizen”.
