Sivasspor is a Turkish football club based in Sivas. They currently feature in the Turkish first division.

Sivasspor were established on May 14,1932 as Sivas Genchk. Initially they played at the amateur level. By the mid-1960s they had merged with Yolspor and Kinhrmak but they were still not allowed to play professionally.

Finally on July 1,1967 Sivasspor were allowed to play professionally and started playing in the Second League, White Group. They finished 16th in their first season in professional football and managed to gain promotion to the top division only in 2005 when they won the Second League.

In their very first season in the Turkish top flight, Sivasspor finished 8th and finished a club best fourth in the league in the 2007-2008 season.

Sivasspor play their home matches at the 4 Eylul stadium that can accomodate 18,000 spectators. They bear the nickname “Yigidos”.
