Genclerbirligi Spor Kulubu is a Turkish football club based in Ankara. They currently feature in the Turkish first division and their name translates as “Union of Youth”.

Genclerbirligi were established on March 14,1923 by students from the high school, Sultani Mektebi. The students had actually failed to be selected for their own school team and with the help of a friend’s father established the club.

For the past decade, Genclerbirligi have been featuring in the top half of the table in the Turkish first disvoion and played in the UEFA Cup in the 2003-2004 season. They finished fifth in the league in the 2004-2005 season.

Genclerbirligi play their home matches at the 19 Mayis Stadyumu that can accomodate 19,209 spectators. They bear the nickname “The Wind of Ankara”.
