R.E. Mouscron is a Belgian football club based in the municipality of Mouscron, Hainaut. They currently feature in the Belgian first division and have been in the top flight since the 1996-1997 season.
RE Mouscron were established in 1964 after Stade Mouscron and ARA Mouscron merged together. They gained promotion to the Belgian top flight at the start of the 1996-1997 season.
Mouscron had financial problems during the 2004-2005 season and several players had to leave. But they recovered admirably after that and are now firmly established in the Belgian top flight.
RE Mouscron play their home matches at the Stade Le Canonnier that has a capacity of 10,830 spectators. They bear the nicknames Les Hurlus and Les Frontaliers.
