Club Sportivo Miramar Misiones are a football team that plays in the Uruguayan football league. Based out of Montevideo, the club was formed in 1980 after the merger of Miramar and Misiones, two football clubs who previously played mainly at the lower divisions. The team adopted a merger of the jersey by using the Miramar strip as their home colours and the Misiones strip as their away jerseys. The most fascinating aspect of the deal between the two clubs was the fact that during heir playing days, both these clubs had a tremendous rivalry that originated as both were from the same neighbourhood in the city. The merged lineup plays its home games at the Parque Luis Mendez Piana, a 6,000 seat arena in the capital.

Miramar Misiones have won just one title in their history, the 1986 Segunda Division championships. However, as a single entity, Miramar won two Segunda Division twice, in 1942 and 1953.
