Liverpool Futbol Club are a Uruguayan football team that plays out of the capital city of Montevideo. One of the older clubs in the country, they are one of the biggest teams never to win a title. Since joining the Primera Division in 1919, the team has always managed to play brilliantly without having anything to show for its efforts. The team plays at the Estadio Belvedere and although they haven’t won any titles, they did reach the finals of the 1995 Apertura tournament and the Liguilla. They have had some exciting players in their squad including the likes of Paulo Pezzolano, Jose Naya, Jorge Delgado and Sebastian Vasquez.
