Grenoble Foot 38 is a French football club based in the city of Grenoble. They currently feature in the French Ligue 1.
Grenoble Foot 38 were established in 1892 as Football Club de Grenoble. They maintained this name until 1977 when they were rechristened as Football Club Assocaition Sportive de Grenoble.

In 1984 they became Football Club de Grenoble Dauphine and in 1990 were renamed as Football Club de Grenoble Isere. In 1992 they became Football Club de Grenoble Jojo Isere and in 1993 became Olympique Grenoble Isere.
In 1997 a merger between Olympique Grenoble Isere and Norcap Olympique led to the formation of Grenoble Foot 38. In 2004 the club was taken over by Japanese enterprise Index.
Grenoble play their home matches at the Stade des Alpes, that was opened in February 2008. The stadium has a capacity of 20,068
