Lech Poznan is a Polish football club based in the city of Poznan. They currently feature in the Polish first division.
Lech Poznan were established on March 19,1922 and were named after the legendary Lech who actually founded Poland. At the time their name was Lutnia Poznan and they have undergone several name changes since.

Lech Poznan played their first Polish first division match in March 1948 and came to the fore in the early 1980s and 1990s and became the most popular club in Greater Poland region.
Lech Pozan have participated in several European matches in their history. They have played both in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and the European Cup.
Lech Poznan play their home matches at the Stadion Miejski that can accommodate 16,500 spectators at the moment although it is currently being upgraded to support 46,000 spectators. Lech Poznan bear the nickname Kolejorz.
